Terms of Service

Use the service reasonably.

What the service is

The service is an AI chat interface over GitHub repositories: it packs a repo's source code and answers questions about it. Anonymous visitors get a few free chat messages per day. Signing in with GitHub (no password) gives you a larger free daily allowance and lets you chat with private repos you have access to. Optional paid plans raise your limits further — see Paid plans. Conversations are saved server-side — see the Privacy / Conversation logging section for what that means and how to revoke.

GitHub access

Signing in connects our GitHub App with read-only Contents and Metadata permissions. We use it only to read the code of repositories you grant access to, in order to answer your questions. We never write to your repositories. You can revoke access at any time at github.com/settings/apps/authorizations. Private-repo code is processed in memory only and never stored — see the Privacy policy.

Two optional paid plans, Pro and Max, raise your daily and weekly message limits above the free tier. Each is a monthly subscription that renews automatically until you cancel.

Account rules

Generated content

AI replies are generated from each repo's packed source code and README. We don't guarantee accuracy. Read the actual repository before making decisions based on what the assistant says. If you spot a factually wrong reply that the model invented (vs. genuinely-disputable interpretation), email [email protected] and we'll investigate.

Conversation logging

By chatting, you agree that your messages may be logged server-side. We do this for product improvement, debugging, and to give you a history page. You can revoke this consent at any time from the /me/history page — see the Privacy policy for the details. Anonymous chats are also logged briefly; the privacy policy covers what we keep.

Liability

The service is provided as-is with no warranty. We aren't liable for decisions you make based on AI replies, generation errors, downtime, or third-party services we depend on (GitHub, OpenRouter, Cloudflare).

Termination

We may suspend accounts that abuse the service. You may close your account anytime by emailing [email protected] (see Privacy → Deletion) and revoking the GitHub App authorization.

Trademarks

GitHub is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation. BitVibe Labs is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft or GitHub. The service reads GitHub repository data via GitHub's documented API using access you explicitly grant.

Changes

We'll update these terms when needed. Material changes will be reflected here with the "Updated" date above.
